Troye Sivan’s “Lucky Strike” video is a beachside romance

"Lucky Strike," the latest single from Troye Sivan's sophomore album Bloom, now has a music video. Emma Westenberg directs the sunny beach clip, which stars Troye as a lovesick solo sunbather who transforms the setting into a (slightly gory, but still sweet) life-affirming party with the power of his affection. Troye Sivan is about to embark on a European tour, and recently appeared in the blockbuster music video for "thank u, next" by Ariana Grande (the two artists collaborated on "Dance To This" from Sivan's Bloom). “Revelation," his collaboration with Sigur Rós's Jónsi, was nominated for Best Original Song in a Motion Picture at the 2019 Golden Globes.
