Drake will perform five concerts at Wynn Las Vegas in 2019

In January, rumors begin to swirl that Drake was in negotiations for a residency at the XS Nightclub at the Wynn Las Vegas. On Friday, the resort confirmed in a press release that Drake would perform five shows in 2019 – tickets are currently on sale for his first two shows, taking place on May 4 and May 18.

“It’s an absolute honor to welcome Drake to the Wynn family," Wynn Las Vegas said in a statement. "Drake and Wynn Las Vegas are planning on bringing something spectacular to the stage at XS."

It's a big year for hip-hop residencies in Vegas: Cardi B confirmed her own at the Palms Casino Resort just a few weeks ago.
