After a string of intriguing singles over this past year, Barrie are just about ready for their full-length debut. The record, Happy To Be Here, is due out in full on May 3 via Winspear. Today, the Brooklyn-via-everywhere band are premiering the latest cut from the LP, a song called "Saturated" that pulses with the soft trepidation of an all-encompassing kind of crush.
"This song is pretty pure. It came out fully formed, sounding mostly like how it sounds now," writes frontperson Barrie Lindsay. "It’s minimal and exposed, kind of vulnerable but in a confident way. I want people to relate to that state of pure, open saturation. I want this song to feel like a crush."
Hear "Saturated," and catch up on Barrie's upcoming tour dates, below. Happy To Be Here is out May 3 via Winspear. Pre-order the album here.
