Aventura are reportedly dropping new music for the first time in 10 years
😮 😮 😮
It seems as if Aventura are making a return. Group member Romeo Santos teased the iconic bachata band's first music together in years on Tuesday night after leading fans astray with a series of April Fools Jokes via Instagram, Remezcla points out.
After first sharing an apparent cover art for a single titled "Inmortal" on Instagram, Santos set fans off with the post's caption, saying that a new Aventura single would be released that night at 9 p.m. EST.
After the time came and went, and no single was anywhere to be found, users chalked it up to an April Fools joke from the bachata star, as he seemingly confirmed the jest with an apology video.
However, the plot thickened with Santos' next post (above), which told fans that they didn't "pay attention," and that the apology was for not releasing the single at the 9 p.m. EST time he originally stated.
What followed was a clip of Aventura's members all standing together as a snippet of their new single played in the background. The caption tagged each member of the band, as Santos also confirmed that "Inmortal" would appear on his new album Utopia, which is out this Friday.
Fans expressed their immense excitement in the comments section. Latin trap star Bad Bunny also couldn't contain himself, Tweeting "AVENTURAAAAAAA!!!!!" with a heart emoji.
Aventura's last project The Last came in 2009. The group broke up in 2011.
