Lil Nas X hit No.1 on the Billboard chart before he even performed his hit single "Old Town Road" at a concert. That changed on Sunday night, however, when he hit the stage at Stagecoach 2019. He joined Billy Ray Cyrus to perform the remixed version of his hit. You can check out footage from the performance above.
The surprise appearance came during Diplo's late night DJ set. Diplo is the latest artist to embrace the country aesthetic, having dropped new song "So Long" last week under the name Thomas Wesley. He took to the Stagecoach stage in full cowboy regalia, having teased an "Old Town Road" remix throughout his time on stage.
Lil Nas X is expected to drop the "Old Town Road" remix video, starring Billy Ray Cyrus, shortly. He teased the video over the weekend, sharing pictures of himself and Cyrus on set.
