Oneohtrix Point Never is selling off an arsenal of synthesizers
Wild sounds abound.
Since debuting as Oneohtrix Point Never over a decade ago, Daniel Lopatin has built a reputation as a true master of sound in his own right. As such, he's amassed a personal stockpile of synthesizers, and today, he has announced that he'll be selling many of them off. Next Tuesday, he'll open a new shop on Reverb loaded with equipment used on albums such as Age Of, Garden of Delete and the Good Time soundtrack.
"The proceeds from my Reverb Shop will help us to embark on building a new, more permanent studio space,” Lopatin said in a press release. “Thanks for supporting independent studios and shopping secondhand." Among the equipment up for sale are a Roland SP-555 Sampler (still with Lopatin’s memory card intact), a Waldorf Microwave XT Synthesizer, and a Korg Kronos X Music Workstation.
