Charli XCX and Troye Sivan announce L.A. Pride event Go West Fest
The line-up also includes Pussy Riot with a portion of proceeds donated to GLAAD.
Charli XCX and Troye Sivan will curate and co-headline a festival at L.A. venue the Wiltern during Pride week, it has been announced. The inaugrual Go West Fest, named after the Pet Shop Boys song, will take place on June 6 and will also feature performances from Pussy Riot and Dorian Electra among other. A portion of Go West Fest's proceeds will be donated to GLAAD. Writing about the event on Instagram, Sivan described it as "a new kind of pride festival curated by me n @charli_xcx that celebrates the inclusivity, artistry, music, kinks, merchants, and creativity of the LGBTQ community, while really giving back to our community."
The Live Nation-presented festival will also feature Chika, Quay Dash, Leland, and Allie X, plus DJ sets from Baby Uniq, Alima Lee, and K.O. AKA Koala.
Last year Troye Sivan and Charli XCX collaborated on their single "1999," plus its nostalgic music video. XCX has recently teased new music and is expected to drop a new song with Lizzo later this week.
