DJ Khaled, Post Malone, and Travis Scott drop the “Celebrate” video
Father of Asahd is out now.
DJ Khaled's trying something unusual for the release day of his new album Father Of Asahd — dropping four music videos in 24 hours for songs on the project. We've already got the video for "Just Us" featuring SZA, the Outkast-sampling song with a clip inspired by Game Of Thrones, or 300. You know, fantasy stuff. The second video just dropped, and it's for "Celebrate" with Post Malone and Travis Scott. Each of the artists is trapped in a sticky situation — Post Malone and Khaled are being pursued by armed forces, while Travis Scott is some kind of electricity superhero. There's a lot of Matrix-inspired camera pans.
Watch the video for "Celebrate" above. Other Father Of Asahd songs that will get clips on Friday are "Jealous" featuring Chris Brown, Lil Wayne, and Big Sean, and "Holy Mountain" with Buju Banton, Sizzla, Mavado, and 070 Shake. On Friday evening Khaled released the video for "Higher" featuring John Legend and Nipsey Hussle, who was tragically killed on March 31. Khaled has said that 100% of the profits from this song will go to Nipsey's family.
