Sleater-Kinney have shared new song called "Hurry on Home." It's their first release since announcing in January that they were in the studio with St. Vincent working on new music.
“Instead of just going into the studio to document what we’d done, we were going in to explore and to find the essence of something," Carrie Brownstein said of the band's new work in a statement this morning. "To dig in deeper.” Corin Tucker added that working on the new music “was like this manic energy of empowerment.”
The band’s last studio album No Cities to Love was released in 2015.
