City Girls have dropped their new video for "Act Up." The video stars Yung Miami and an ensemble of spring breakers as they, well, act up. JT sadly doesn't appear for her verses, as she's finishing up her 24-month prison sentence (for which she was recently denied early release.) Lil Yachty, however, does play a prominent role in the clip.
You might recall that last month, Yachty revealed that he penned most of "Act Up." "I know them personally, and I know what women like to hear," Yachty told Kerwin Frost. "What's some like, raunchy shit? I just started saying it, and before I went in the booth I said 'no homo, y'all' because all my boys was in the room." This revelation is cheekily referenced in the video as Yachty snatches the mic from Miami around the 1:30 mark and directs her on how to emphasize a line: "If I was a female, I would say it like that."
