The last time Adele gave us an update on new music, she was joking that her post-divorce music will be drum and bass to "spite" fans expecting more sad ballads. Perhaps, however, Adele's future lay in rapping.
Adele showed off her flow last night at a party for creative agency Crown + Conquer in Los Angeles. While she hasn't stepped on stage since pulling a couple of stadium shows in London two years ago with vocal issues, Adele was back on fighting form, jumped on the karaoke machine and delivered a brain-eating rendition of Nicki Minaj's "Monster" verse. The video cuts off soon after that verse ends, so sadly we'll never know if she also rapped all of Jay Z's verse, too. Probably not though, eh?
