Whitney will release new album Forever Turned Around on August 30. The band has shared new song "Giving Up" in addition to the album announcement. Scroll down to stream that now.
Earlier this week Whitney hinted at a return when they shared a brief track titled "FTA." Forever Turned Around is Whitney's second album and the follow-up to 2016 debut Light Upon The Lake.
A press release states that vocalist/drummer Julien Ehrlich and guitarist Max Kakacek " grapple with the anxiety and acceptance that time is limited and navigate questions of mortality, doubt, love, and friendship" on their new record. Forever Turned Around was co-produced by Brad Cook (Bon Iver, Hand Habits) and Jonathan Rado (Weyes Blood, Father John Misty).

This summer Whitney will perform at a number of festivals, including the U.K.'s Green Man, before embarking on a headline North American tour. Beginning in September, Whitney will travel back across the pond and perform in Austin, D.C., Boston, Philly, and Brooklyn among other Stateside stops.
