Could new music from Isaiah Rashad be arriving in the imminent future? It's been a hot minute since we've heard from the TDE rapper — aside from a handful of features on tracks from SZA, TOKiMONSTA and Childish Major, he's kept a relatively low profile in the time since his last album, 2016's The Sun's Tirade. But all signs are pointing to a new dawn on the horizon.
On Thursday evening, Rashad logged on to his Twitter to post for the first time this year, saying "take that time to get you right baby" and shouting out KEY!. He followed it up with a fresh IG post and a livestream from the studio where he played a lengthy snippet of a new track. Toward the end of the stream, Rashad declared that his upcoming album is titled The House Is Burning. Check out footage from the stream below, and stay tuned for whatever Rashad has up his sleeves.
The FADER has reached out to TDE for further comment.
