Amazon has shared the first trailer for its upcoming Meek Mill docuseries, Free Meek. All five episodes of the series, produced by Jay Z and Roc Nation, will be available to stream from August 9. Check out the trailer above.
Free Meek covers the Philly rapper's attempt to clear his name in a legal case that has dogged him for over a decade. Meek was imprisoned in 2017 after being arrested for popping a wheelie on a dirt bike in New York. That charge was dismissed but he ended up in jail for probation violations.
Since his release in April 2018 Meek Mill has campaigned for reform of the criminal justice system, creating the Reform Alliance - a movement to liberate over a million people unjustly incarcerated.
