Cardi B plead not guilty to the assault charges against her during an appearance at the New York Supreme Court in Queens this afternoon, Reuters confirms. Last week, the rapper was indicted by a grand jury with two felonies after allegedly orchestrating an attack on two bartending sisters at Angels Strip Club in Queens last summer. The case was extended back in April when Cardi rejected a plea deal in which she would have accepted a Class A misdemeanor charge.
In addition to the two felonies, Cardi now faces six misdemeanors and six violations for a total of 14 charges pertaining to the strip club altercation. This past weekend, while performing at the BET Experience, Cardi addressed the charges, reportedly telling the crowd "fuck you mean? I ain't going to jail, I got a daughter."
