The Mercury-nominated British rapper drops a new visual from debut album Nothing Great About Britain.
Slowthai's "Toaster" video features the U.K. rapper returning to his childhood home for the first time in over a decade. The innovative video, which is half documentary, half performance, can be seen above.
Earlier today, July 25, Slowthai's debut album Nothing Great About Britain was revealed as one of the 12 nominated albums in the 2019 Mercury Prize. Other artists up for the annual award, which is handed to an oustanding British album of the past 12 months, include NAO, The 1975, Dave, Idles, and Cate Le Bon.
