Tyler, the Creator did a freestyle and a really long interview with Funk Flex
The two chopped it up for over an hour.
Tyler The Creator and Funkmaster Flex had their first-ever sit-down interview recently, and video of the hour-and-a-half-long interview was uploaded to YouTube on Thursday.
The interview starts off with a bit of conflict resolution: Flex admits that he wasn't supportive of Tyler's group Odd Future after one of the members, possibly Earl Sweatshirt, called a recent JAY-Z album "overrated." Tyler, for his part, didn't seem to notice a beef at all: "I just don't be fuckin' with people. I have two rap friends," he says. There's no tension in the actual discussion, which you can watch above. The freestyle begins at 1:21:16, right after Tyler calls Flex a "geek, goop, nerd fuck," and starts with a call to "Free Rocky."
It's the second long Tyler interview in a week, following his sit-down with Zane Lowe to discuss the new album IGOR. Tyler is currently touring the album with Blood Orange, Jaden Smith, and GoldLink.
