Queen and leader of the hottie coalition Megan Thee Stallion took to Instagram to share a short snippet of her next single "Hot Girl Summer," which, by the sounds of it, features Ty Dolla $ign and a sample of City Girls' "Act Up". Sharing a clip of her dancing to the track, the rapper revealed in the post's caption that the song will drop on August 2.
Earlier this month, she filed documents to trademark her "Hot Girl Summer" catchphrase for merchandise such as hoodies and t-shirts, which the release of the single will likely help along. Hopefully, her future win of the trademark curbs mismatched brands' use of the phrase on social media, or at the very least ensures Meg sees profits if they do.
