Hook stays balanced in her “Riot” video
The Riverside rapper shares a new video from her recent BULLY project.
Hook's recently released BULLY project is true to its name. Over the 11 songs, the Riverside rapper goes on a mean streak, aggressively tearing into the Nedarb productions with her low growl. "Honestly in person, I don’t really like confrontation, so I feel like I get to let it out in my music," Hook explained in her recent interview with The FADER.
Her new video for "Riot," which premieres on The FADER today, provides a counter to the song's combative tone. In the clip, Hook posts up outside Comic Con and keeps it lighthearted. "The video is just really fun," Hook told The FADER over email. "The lyrics are so mean but the beat so playful so we decided to shoot a balance in the video.”
