Vampire Weekend and Los Angeles restaurant HomeState have announced a new official Vampire Weekend taco flavor, as Pitchfork points out, with all proceeds going to charity. The ‘Vegetarian Weekend’ is a new vegetarian flavor that will be available from August 1st until the end of October, with all proceeds donated to PATH, a non-profit organization working to end homelessness in California. The first few customers to buy a ‘Vegetarian Weekend’ will receive a limited edition poster. Find more information here.
Vampire Weekend have been on cycle lately, performing on late night TV and covering the Parks and Recreation theme song, among other things. Their latest record Father of the Bride, which featured HAIM, Jude Law, and Jenny Lewis, hit number one on the Billboard 200 albums chart.
