Nasty Cherry is the glammed up project of Chloe Chaidez, Gabbriette Bechtel, Georgia Somary and Debbie Knox-Hewson, four friends that met and found musical kinship through Charli XCX. The group have been busy plotting away on their debut EP (due out later this fall) and slowly teasing all that the project entails. Today, they're sharing the third single, "Live Forever," a pleading, eighties-indebted ditty about being stuck on someone you probably shouldn't be.
The group wrote the song with Charli XCX, and produced it with Justin Raisen (Sky Ferreira, Angel Olsen, etc) — the two also worked on the band's first single, "Win," which we chatted with them about back in March. "Live Forever" is their most polished pop moment to date — fittingly, it arrives an extremely casual video, shot through a phone camera at a carnival. Check it out above, and stay tuned for Nasty Cherry's debut EP out soon.
