Watch Kelsey Lu perform a minimal version of “Foreign Car” at the Sydney Opera House

Experimental composer and vocalist Kelsey Lu’s 2019 record Blood was a stunning collection of ultra-minimal, ambient-leaning pop music that utilised the Los Angeles-based musician’s background in classical composition to yield one of the year’s most unique pop albums. Earlier this year, Lu toured Blood to Australia and performed in the historic Sydney Opera House; while there, they filmed a stripped-back version of single “Foreign Car” for the Opera House.
