Ejji Smith takes a hazy joyride in “Highway”

Toronto-based Ejji Smith recently dropped the visuals for his latest single "Highway," finding him taking a hazy joyride around the city. The song, a soulful, guitar-heavy track, provides the ideal backdrop for the vintage-tinged clip. "Highway was inspired by road trips with past lovers and the optimism of new love and adventure," Smith explained about the song to The FADER via email. "Highway is the idea that we ought to be in motion or at least in anticipation of it and looking down the road - not succumbing to stagnancy - in order to maintain liveliness."
