serpentwithfeet performed at Ellie Goulding’s wedding
Goulding wed her partner Caspar Jopling on Saturday, September 1.
This past weekend British pop star Ellie Goulding got married to art dealer Caspar Jopling in the English city of York and, by all accounts, it was a pretty fancy event. The Sun compared the York Minster-held ceremony to a Royal Wedding, with a guest list including actual royalty in the shape of Princesses Beatrice and Princess Eugenie alongside Katy Perry and Ed Sheeran.
Another musician who was in attendance on the day was former FADER cover star serpentwithfeet. He shared pictures from the day on Instagram, confirming that he performed during the ceremony. "thank you @elliegoulding for asking me to perform at your wedding," he wrote. "I am still in disbelief, but incredibly honored that you would invite my melodramatic self to sing at a celebration of love."
serpentwithfeet dropped his debut album soil in 2018. More recently, he released new song "Receipts" featuring Ty Dolla $ign. Ellie Goulding, meanwhile, teamed up with Juice WRLD on "Hate Me" in June.
