FKA twigs announces Magdalene tour dates
The headline tour hits North America in November.
FKA twigs has announced a headline tour in support of new album Magdalene. The ambitious live show, which twigs previewed across Europe and North America earlier this year, will return to the U.S. and Canada in November. Starting in Vancouver on November 3, the run of shows will culminate in New York with a date at the King's Theater on November 20. A full run down of dates and venues can be seen above.
Tweeting about the tour on Tuesday, twigs wrote: "preparing the MAGDALENE show has been my most ambitious undertaking, and the thought of sharing it with a wider audience is thrilling. you’ve been very patient."
Earlier this week twigs announced the first details of her new album. Magdalene is th follow-up to 2014's LP1 and is co-produced by Nicolas Jaar. Future appears on one song while the album also includes the 2019 single "Cellophane." A release date for the record is TBC.
