Travis Scott was among the performers at Philadelphia's Made in America Festival this past weekend and the rapper took time out of his headline set to tease the arrival of new music. “I don’t know how many people out here made it to the Astroworld tour, but I love y’all, thank y’all for coming,” Scott said during his September 1 performance. “We got some new music on the way very motherfucking soon, you dig what I’m sayin.”
Further details as to what this new music will be remain unconfirmed at the time of writing. Scott has not released any solo material since Astroworld dropped in 2018. However, as Genius notes, he has teased a track titled "Highest In The Room" featuring Lil Baby in recent months. The song appeared briefly in an April 22 commercial for Kylie Jenner’s Kybrows collection while a September 2 Instagram post teased the track’s release. “Sent me a wave to come kick it,” he wrote. “Highest in the Room soon reach.”
Last month Scott released Look Mom I Can Fly, a Netflix documentary about the making of Astroworld and a subsequent world tour.
