Prince's estate and Warner Bros. are teaming up for a massive reissue of the Purple One's megastar-making album 1999, out November 29. The release includes a complete remaster, plus a "super deluxe edition" with 35 (!) brand new tracks and a concert film retrieved from Prince's vault. The footage was shot in Houston on December 29, 1982, and you can watch Prince shut it down (literally) with 1999's title track above. What can one say about it, really? A professionally-recorded performance of Prince is always a dream, and I can't wait to watch the full thing. The month before the new edition of 1999 drops, we'll get our unworthy hands on The Beautiful Ones, Prince's memoir, on October 29.
