Listen to “Fendi,” Nicki Minaj’s first new song post-retirement
Nicki Minaj, PnB Rock and Murda Beatz team up on a new song.
Reports of her retirement have been greatly exaggerated — Nicki Minaj is back with a new feature on the PnB Rock song “Fendi,” which also features Murda Beatz. First announced on Wednesday, “Fendi” is Minaj’s first song since she unceremoniously announced that she was retiring from music earlier this month in order to begin her family. At the beginning of “Fendi,” the rapper ad-libs: “I swear, this is really my favourite song.” Considering it got her out of retirement, it must be. Listen to “Fendi” below.
Pre-retirement announcement, Minaj featured on Megan Thee Stallion’s “Hot Girl Summer” alongside Ty Dolla $ign, and also featured in its video. Prior to that, she remixed Pop Smoke’s “Welcome To The Party.” She’s also been back on the Queen Radio train, interviewing Joe Budden and Megan Thee Stallion on her Apple Music Beats 1 radio show.
