Watch Sharon Van Etten return to NPR’s Tiny Desk

Earlier this year, Sharon Van Etten released her triumphant album Remind Me Tomorrow, a project that found the Brooklyn artist wrapping her introspective lyrics in a cavalcade of propulsive synths. Recently, Van Etten brought that material to NPR for her first performance at the Tiny Desk in almost a decade; back in 2010, she performed songs from Epic armed with nothing but an acoustic guitar and backing vocals from Cat Martino. In her new session, streaming today via NPR, she's backed by a full band, but her mighty voice still packs the same punch that it did during her initial visit.
