Netflix has announced I’m With The Band: Nasty Cherry, a new Netflix Original docuseries looking at how Charli XCX handpicked four women to form Nasty Cherry, her label’s latest signing. The six-episode series, executive produced by Charli XCX, documents Nasty Cherry from its inception, when the four band members moved in together, to the release of their debut single “Win,” co-written by Charli. Based on the trailer, it looks like the series will comprise both to-camera interviews with the band and Charli and candid footage of the band rehearsing and writing. Netflix PR describes I’m With The Band as “an intimate look into what it takes to make your dreams come true.” Ominously, the show’s announcement press release also notes that the band could “completely implode,” promising that the series will document what could “make – or break” Nasty Cherry. I'm With The Band: Nasty Cherry drops November 15. Watch the trailer below:
Nasty Cherry debuted earlier this year with "Win," and quickly followed it up with "What Do You Like In Me?" and "Live Forever." Last week they released "Music With Your Dad" and announced that their debut EP is set to be released next month on Vroom Vroom Recordings.
