Two generations of Puerto Rican music superstars have teamed up on “Cántalo,” a new song from Ricky Martin featuring Bad Bunny and Residente. In English, the song's title means "Sing It," and that's an easy command to comply with given the song's effortless blend of Latin pop and trap for Bad Bunny's verse. Listen above via Pitchfork.
"Cantalo" will be performed by all three artists for the first time at the 20th Annual Latin GRAMMY Awards on November 14, 2019. Bad Bunny and Residente previously collaborated on "Afilando los Cuchillos," a protest song released in the wake of demonstrations against then-governor of Puerto Rico Ricardo Rosselló — both artists took to the streets to join the protests, along with Ricky Martin.
