"Frail State Of Mind" is the first single from British pop group The 1975's upcoming album Notes on a Conditional Form, and the band's constantly shifting sonic perspective has this time landed on dubstep-indebted dream-pop. The song is a winner, and after a recent performance of the track on Colbert, today the band have shared the music video. It features frontman Matt Healy living out the song's agoraphobic lyrics in a digital-age Howard Hughes-esque hermitage. There's lots of opportunities for him to pose and preen for the camera, though. Check it out above.
Notes on a Conditional Form is out February 21, 2020. Listen to the project's previous single "People," and read the band's FADER cover story.
