Travis Scott announced that a new compilation featuring Scott alongside artists signed to his Cactus Jack Records label is slated for a release later this year, according to Genius. The Jack Boys compilation album is reportedly set to feat Scott's own music, including the single "Highest in the Room," as well as contributions from Don Toliver, Chase B, Sheck Wes and more. The rapper made the announcement in conjunction with the release of a line of Jack Boys merchandise, which makes an even stronger case for an album release before the end of 2019.
Back in October, Scott mentioned the project in an interview with Zane Lowe. “I’m at the point where I’m just trying to cook up some dope shit and drop ‘Highest in the Room,’ and maybe put something around it,” he said said. "I’m always down to drop music and serve some packs to the fans. It’s time for the fans to eat… I’m gearing up for something special. All I can say is Jack Boys is on the way.”
