The Weeknd's music video for "Heartless" is here. Anton Tammi's visuals take Abel Tesfaye's drug-fuelled hedonism to its natural locale: Las Vegas. Despite the expensive suits, Tesfaye and his companion Metro Boomin are anything but classy as they run rampant through the neon-lit streets. They're far more ratty than Rat Pack, with the visuals giving more than a slight nod to Terry Gilliam's Fear And Loathing In Las Vegas.
The visuals for "Heartless" come the week after the song and another new track called "Blinding Lights" were released. The Weeknd is currently at work on his sixth full-length project, the follow-up to 2018's My Dear Melancholy. He'll appear as himself in the film Uncut Gems starring Adam Sandler and directed by the Safdie Brothers.
