Hailee Steinfeld pours her heart out on new ballad “Wrong Direction”

Hailee Steinfeld opens up about a relationship gone wrong on new song "Wrong Direction." "It's so gut-wrenching falling in the wrong direction," she sings on the ballad. Fans have speculated online that the song is about Steinfeld's relationship with One Direction's Niall Horan. The couple split in 2018.

Steinfeld's previous single, "Afterlife," was released in 2019. She has also collaborated with BloodPop and Zedd as well as supporting Katy Perry and Charlie Puth on tour in 2018. Last year she played the lead role on Apple TV+ show Dickinson and appeared in the Charlie's Angels remake.
