Seasons three and four of Atlanta will air in 2021

2019 came and went without another season of Atlanta, Donald Glover's critically acclaimed and cultishly beloved dramedy that airs on FX. Fans hoping for the follow-up to 2018's Robbin Season this year, though, will be disappointed: FX has today announced that the long-delayed 10-episode season three of Atlanta will actually begin in early 2021. There is a silver lining, though: season four of Atlanta, consisting of eight episodes, will also air in 2021, a few months after season three concludes. The two seasons will function like two parts of a new chapter of Atlanta, according to FX boss John Landgraf. When it rains, it pours!
