Halsey shared the visuals for her latest country-tinged single "You Should Be Sad." In the clip, the singer leans heavily into some country aesthetics, from cowboy hats to line-dancing around a dark saloon and even a fashion nod to Shania Twain's leopard print moment in "That Don't Impress Me Much." Surrounded by dancers, the whole thing eventually descends into a pseudo orgy. You know, as one might expect.
The acoustic-driven song finds Halsey lamenting over a failed relationship, blaming an unnamed ex for their demise. “You’re not half the man you think that you are / And you can’t fit the hole inside of you with money, girls, and cars," she sings on the track. The song also serves as the first single from her upcoming album Manic, in stores on January 17.
