Björk has never shied away from innovative and experimental music expression. Now, the artist has composed a project alongside Microsoft AI to create a score for the lobby of the Sister City hotel, according to Engadget. The composition, dubbed Kórsafn or the choral archives, plays various selections composed by the singer based on what an AI camera sees from the hotel's rooftop. Everything from the weather to passing clouds and even birds can affect the never-ending musical piece.

"As the seasons change, the AI learns about new and different weather events that influence various choral arrangements," says the caption in a video explaining the project. "The birds return to NYC come Springtime, and the AI learns to recognize these flocks."

The composition exists within a larger series of "lobby soundscapes" created by Microsoft and the hotel, first released last spring when the hotel was opened.
