Song Machine is a new episodic series from Gorillaz, in which the animated band intermittently release new songs and music videos featuring different artists. In January, they delivered "Momentary Bliss," a punky collaboration with slowthai and Slaves, and today they've dropped off “Désolé” featuring Malian singer-songwriter Fatoumata Diawara. The music video, streaming above, opens with Gorillaz bassist Murdoc stalking around the band's Kong Studios then heads over to the ocean for a full band boat trip, animated and human members alike. As you might expect from the title (it means "sorry" in French), the song is moody, but it's still catchy and hugely elevated by Diawara's verses. Listen above.
