Watch The Weeknd preview his new album in an After Hours short film
Abel Tesfaye’s new album drops later this month.
The Weeknd cuts a lonely figure in a short film released ahead of new album After Hours. The clip, streaming at the top of the page, catches a bloodied Abel Tesfaye as he leaves the stage following his recent performance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! and heads into the streets of Los Angeles. On the verge of tears and sporting a bandage over his nose, Tesfaye looks to the sky for help.
Directed by Anton Tammi, who worked on the videos for "Heartless" and "Blinding Lights," the video provides no new music but a major mood-setter for the record. After Hours is set to be released on March 20. The Weeknd's world tour kicks off in Vancouver, British Columbia in June.
