Manny Norté wears many hats in the music industry, splitting his time between radio, DJ sets, and major label A&R. He has put his connections to good use, recruiting Atlanta's 6LACK, afrobeats' brightest hope Rema, and London rapper Tion Wayne for a huge new collaboration that he produced,
Director Meiji Alabi took the whole crew to Norte’s parents’ hometown of Teshie in Ghana to shoot the video to the laidback track, which mixes R&B melodies with hip-hop production. The video shows the seaside town in all its glory, from beautiful vistas to the local kids enjoying soccer in the street.
Speaking to The FADER about his new posse cut, Norté said: "The song means so much to me because I’m a fan of all the artists on the track and to bring all the different worlds together is something you don’t get to really see. The video took the song to another level! We got to shoot in Ghana over two days. Both my parents are from Ghana so to do this was historic."
