If you need to mentally transport yourself during your self-imposed quarantine, you might want to keep this new live set from Liv.e on loop. The Texas artist, who now resides in Los Angeles, took the time amid the madness in the world to record a live set at home that includes a cover of Steve Kuhn's "Thoughts of a Gentleman," two songs off of her upcoming project ("She Stay Conflicted, I Hope He Understands" and "LazyEaterBetsOnHerLikeness"), and a new song with Maxo.
The lighting is set just right to fit the mood of the smooth mix of jazz, R&B, and soul, encouraging you to do just the same as you snuggle up with bae just like Liv.e and Maxo. In an email, Liv.e simply said this about the clip, “Time is a blur. Let’s get right inside.” And of course, she ends the performance with some timeless advice: "Stay hydrated."
