Future to provide medical masks for healthcare workers amid COVID-19 pandemic
The custom masks will go to healthcare workers and patients in Atlanta.
In the fight against COVID-19, there continue to be shortages on medical equipment for both patients and healthcare professionals working tirelessly to contain its spread. Stars like Rihanna and Ariana Grande have continued to step up to donate money and supplies, and now Future's FreeWishes Foundation has donated medical masks in the aptly named #MaskOn campaign. Teaming up with Atlanta Sewing Style, a community collective of 500 local sewists and designers, the masks will be sewn and delivered to local hospitals.
“It is important to my brother, Future and I that we are of service to our community, especially during this pandemic and throughout the year. This is why our family created the foundation” said the foundation's co-founder Tia-Wilburn Anderson.
