Beyoncé shares a new trailer for BLACK IS KING
The film arrives on Disney+ on July 31.
A month after the release of the first trailer, Beyoncé shared a new trailer for her upcoming film BLACK IS KING. Written, directed and executive produced by the superstar, the trailer boasts appearances from JAY-Z, Lupita Nyong'o, and models like Naomi Campbell and Adut Akech.
Beyoncé previously shared the first trailer and revealed she had originally intended for the film to accompany her album The Lion King: The Gift, its visuals and collaborators pulling heavily from a variety of African cultures. This trailer further clarifies the film as a visual album release, but there's no telling which songs will be a part of its current iteration. On June 19, she shared a new single "BLACK PARADE" in celebration of Juneteenth, meaning it may very well appear in this new film.
BLACK IS KING will arrive exclusive to Disney+ on July 31.
