Cardi B has announced that her new single "WAP," a collaboration with newly-minted star Megan Thee Stallion, will drop this Friday, August 7. The rappers' first track together, "WAP," produced by Ayo n Keyz, will be Cardi's first single as a lead artist since 2019's "Press," and Meg's first release since her single "Girls In The Hood." The announcement of "WAP" arrives alongside some instantly iconic single artwork, featuring Cardi and Meg, tongues akimbo, joined at the hair by a shared updo. See the song's artwork above.
"WAP" is set to be Meg's first release since she was shot late last month, an experience she described as "the worst experience of [her] life." The traumatic incident came on the heels of "Savage Remix," her collaboration with fellow Houston hero Beyoncé, hitting No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100.
