Noel Fisher, widely known as producer Detail, was arrested on Wednesday on over a dozen sexual assault charges, according to Reuters. The producer is reportedly being held on $6.3 million bail.
Fisher was under investigation for alleged events that occurred between 2010 and 2018. In a statement from the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, detectives were notified in late July that "15 sexual assault charges and five additional felony assault-related charges were filed against" the producer. "Based on the nature of the allegations, SVB detectives believe there may be additional potential victims and they are seeking the public's help in identifying any such victims," the LASD said in the statement.
In 2018, singer Jessie Reyez revealed her own experiences with Fisher after two women accused him of sexual assault. The alleged incident was the subject of her song "Gatekeeper." "One night, over 6 years ago Noel ‘Detail’ Fisher tried this on me," Reyez tweeted at the time. "I was lucky and I got out before it got to this. I didn’t know what to say or who to tell. I was scared."
Bebe Rexha and Tinashe would take to social media to recount their own negative experiences with the producer. "He tried to do the same thing to me when I was a new artist," Rexha tweeted at the time. Tinashe later commented on Rexha's post via Instagram, saying, "The only session I’ve been in to this day where I left due to being soooo uncomfortable. Glad he’s being exposed for the fucking creep he is.”
Just last fall, he lost a $15 million sexual assault lawsuit filed by artist and model Kristina Buch.
