Each week, The FADER rounds up a small selection of calls for donations from causes furthering the goals of equality and social justice. This week, we're focussing on organizations providing support to those affected by the recent explosion in Beirut, Lebanon.

School dropout rates are high: only half of children were still in school by age 18 in 2018. The Lebanese Red Cross is providing frontline assistance to those affected in Beirut. The main ambulance provider in Lebanon, support is needed to ensure ongoing operations.
“Unfortunately, due to limited funds, we are either late to or cannot respond to 1 emergency call out of 5! This is mostly the case during weekdays from 6AM to 6PM when our volunteers are at work or in class, and we have to recruit some of our experienced volunteers as staff in order to ensure rapid and effective ambulance response during the day. But with small monthly donations, you can help us reach more people who need us faster.” — LRC
