For the better part of the past year, Ian Isiah has been teasing us with the promise of AUNTIE, a new project produced by Chromeo that will pay homage to "his formative years in gospel groups and Brooklyn's Black storefront churches." It's finally due out in its entirety on August 31 via Juliet Records, and today, he's sharing one more taste of what to expect. Following in the funky footsteps of "N.U.T.S" and "Loose Truth," "Princess Pouty" delivers a dazzling treatise on petulance. It arrives with a Thuan Tran-directed video, shot in a very empty Coney Island. Check it out, alongside the AUNTIE cover art, below.
