Moses Sumney has shared his take on Ariana Grande’s 2018 hit “thank u, next.” Available exclusively via Amazon Music, Sumney slows down Grande’s break-up anthem, adding a melancholy air to the Grande's breezy original and reinventing the song in the process. Check it out below.
Earlier this year Sumney dropped his latest album græ, via Jagjaguwar Records. The album features contributions from Daniel Lopatin, Thundercat, Jill Scott, and James Blake among others. It followed 2017 debut LP Aromanticism. Sumney recently performed a selection of songs from the record as part of NPR's Tiny Desk (Home) Concert series.
