Singer-songwriter Fana Hues is used to always having support close by. In her video for "Notice Me," she's surrounded by the women from her large, close-knit musical family, seemingly ready to forge a legacy of her own.

"When I was younger, rehearsals and performing were a part of our weekly schedule," she explained to FADER. "If we weren’t performing as a band, somebody had a flute or violin or cello recital that we were at, so growing up it was a constant cycle of rehearsals and shows. Music isn’t new for me, it's all I’ve known, but now I'm making it my own."

The striking, Amira Hadiya-directed clip serves as an ode to this dynamic, as well as her evolving sound. "I wrote and recorded this song the day before I went to London for the first time, I had found a sound that truly felt like me, so I was extra hyped about everything," she explained."I was rooted and reminded that all the things I doubted myself about, all my fears were 'just an unpleasant dream.' Just like my mom says."
